I’m so excited that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! It’ll be the first one I get to spend with my boyfriend and since our first New Years Eve together was absolutely perfect I can’t wait to see how to rest of our first holidays together are going to go!

He’s been dropping hints all over the place about what his plans are for that day – including, hopefully, joking that we’ll be attending the Nascar race scheduled for the 14th. I think I’ve dropped a few pretty good hints of my own, I was checking out Movado Watches online and found this <a href=” http://www.bluedial.com/0605544.htm”>adorable green one that I really want! I keep leaving the browser open to that page so hopefully he’s taken the hint.

Besides the watch that I’ve been hinting at I’m sure he’ll be cooking dinner of some sort. I think I’m just going to let him go at it in the kitchen – he usually freaks me out by his unorthodox approach to cooking. Claiming that he hates following recipes / approved safety procedures, the unconventional way he comes up with dishes tends to worry me – but they always turn out amazing so I’ve learned to just let him do his thing, while I wait patiently in another room. I’m sure this Valentine’s day will be memorable no matter what.

The logo might be small and green but in reality there’s nothing small about it – HULU.com is a miracle for anyone who doesn’t have time to sit down and watch regularly scheduled programming. It’s also perfect for college students who live by themselves w/o roommates to help out with a cable bill … which works out well for me since I fit that description exactly Even if I did have the option to watch my favorite shows once a week I’d probably either forget about the times they come on or have some other obligation that would make me miss out on seeing them.

Nothing beats waking up on a lazy Saturday, grabbing my computer and vegging out with some corny shows that I’m so unreasonably attached to. I’m actually really excited – for Christmas my parents finally decided that the old hand-me-down TV they sent me off to college with had met its end. Now I just have to figure out what kind of cable I need to hook up my Mac to it ☺ then I can watch my favorite shows on a screen significantly bigger than my laptop! Just need to get the boyfriend’s professional opinion about what kind of cable I need… hint hint**

By GREEN obviously the color counts first and foremost; however, I’m also considering throwing in some stuff that’s environmentally “green.”

THINGS = stuff. That’s easy – just random everyday, or not so everyday, stuff (that is, if it fits into the first 2 categories…)

Why am I writing a blog about random small green stuff? Because it’s interesting and gives me something to do during the day… That’s really about the only reason.

And that about sums up what this is – hopefully – going to be all about. I find short, small, or cute green things and let you know about them.
